Medical history
History of neurological symptoms and ataxia with delayed proprioception in all four limbs, now much improved after medication and crate rest. Slight ataxia remains and she may occasionally limp. Needs a home without slippery flooring, or with rugs and runners.
About Nora
Nora came from a breeder and is a scared girl who feels overwhelmed and needs kindness, patience and TLC. Like many nervous dogs she can be vocal with a deep, defensive howl in keeping with her Beagle heritage, but with a calm approach she settles and reveals her softer side, choosing to settle near her carers and accepting gentle strokes. She would suit a calm, quiet home with adopters experienced in nervous ex-breeding dogs who will let her progress at her own pace. She takes great comfort from other dogs and needs at least one kind, confident resident dog of similar size or larger. She has never lived in a home or walked on a lead.
