What we collect and why

Account details (name, email) to run your account; adopter profile and application answers to match you with animals and share with the rescue you apply to (with your consent); messages between you and rescues; and complaints you submit.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent to share an application with a rescue, and on our legitimate interest in running a rehoming service for the rest.

How long we keep it

Sensitive application data is anonymised 30 days after an application is rejected or the animal is adopted. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account.

You can access, export, correct or erase your data, and complain to the ICO. Use our complaints form or your account’s data page.
