About Sharky
A unique, sensitive parrot seeking a calm, understanding forever home. He forms strong preferences and bonds, and specifically needs a female primary carer, as he is uncomfortable around men and needs them to keep their distance. He is not a 'jump right in' companion and needs time, patience and someone happy to move at his pace. He prefers the safety of his cage and can take a while to choose to come out. He has experienced leg issues in the past, so needs an adopter who can give extra attention to his mobility and keep his perches supportive. Once he trusts you he is sweet, affectionate and cheeky.
