About Spike
A sweet, affectionate conure who has settled well into foster care. He loves human companionship and will happily push his head into your hand for scratches or perch on your shoulder. He is eating and drinking well and appears to be in good health, aside from a few stress lines on his feathers from before his arrival. He can be a little needy and shows some signs of separation anxiety, so work is being done to help him feel more confident when left alone. He has no preference for men or women, gets along well with other birds and the resident parrot Morris, though he can be a little jealous. Once settled he is a confident flyer who follows his favourite person from room to room.
