About Barnie
Barnie has taken a little time to settle but is now coming out of her cage to explore. She will step up, but only on her terms and not from the cage door. She is a fantastic talker and an endless source of entertainment, holding full conversations with the resident African Grey or with herself; her favourite routine is pretending to be on the telephone. She eats a good seed mix and other parrot foods well, though fresh foods are more of a challenge; she enjoys broccoli, apple and cooked carrots. Having lived alone for much of her life, she may do well with another parrot companion. Her new family must be patient and let her go at her own pace. Needs a new cage.
