About
Maxi's Mates is a dog rescue and rehoming centre based at Carlin Howe Farm in Dunsdale, near Guisborough. Founded after the rescue of a single stray dog named Maxi, the charity officially opened its doors in January 2016 and now cares for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs from across Redcar & Cleveland and Hambleton. With 56 kennel spaces and a small team of staff and volunteers, it works to match every dog with a loving forever home.
