About
Merrypigs is a small guinea pig rescue and sanctuary near Stafford and Rugeley in Staffordshire, run since 2016 by a Registered Veterinary Nurse from a dedicated pig room attached to the family home. The sanctuary takes in surrendered, poorly and special-needs guinea pigs, providing veterinary care, fleece bedding and lots of nursing before rehoming healthy piggies to carefully matched homes. Permanent sanctuary residents who are too poorly or elderly to rehome are cared for for life.
